The 15th Annual 2025 Pecos League Mountain Division All Star Game will be hosted in Garden City, Kansas.This will mark the third time Garden City has hosted the All-Star Game in 2017 and 2022.
"The City of Garden City symbolizes what the Pecos League is about and we are proud to celebrate our 10th year there.In the 10 years we have had a team there the City and Staff have been remarkable and enjoyed their baseball." says Andrew Dunn of the Pecos League.
"Garden City is a great place for an All-Star Game they always do a job good and the players love playing there."says JD Droddy of the Pecos League.
The 2025 version of the All Star Game will feature the following teams:
Earl Brookover with Brookover Farms built a feedyard on the edge of town and painted the words EAT BEEF KEEP SLIM on the top of his grain elevators, Garden City has recognized the value of cattle feeding to the region and done it up right.The sign is now a landmark in Garden City.
The Brookover Family name has been synonymous with agriculture, economy, and land use on the High Plains for more than 50 years.
Eat Beef, Keep Slim was a 1950s campaign to promote beef in Arizona. The campaign featured a cartoon character named Lil' Dudette who spread the message to stay trim by eating beef.
