The White Sands Pupfish make the most of 10 hits in 11-6 victory over the Garden City Wind

Both the White Sands Pupfish (21-13) and the Garden City Wind (9-25) put runners aboard on Wednesday, but it was the White Sands Pupfish that were able to take advantage, pulling out an 11-6 win at Griggs Park.

Joe Borowski had two extra-base hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He homered in the sixth inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Edgar Munoz got on base three times in the game for the Garden City Wind. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He singled in the third and seventh innings.

Cameron Powers got his fifth win for the White Sands Pupfish despite allowing six runs over seven innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

Zack Russell-Myers couldnt get it done on the rubber for the Garden City Wind, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked two and struck out five.

The White Sands Pupfishs Brandon Burkes, Aaron Olivas, Aaron Nardone and Borowski combined for eight hits and nine RBIs.
