A walk-off solo home run from Brian Frazier brought home the winning run for the Trinidad Triggers (8-2) in a 4-3 victory over the Garden City Wind (3-6) at Central Park on Saturday.
Frazier rocked the Garden City Wind with two home runs. Frazier went 2-4 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Frazier homered in the sixth and ninth innings.
Daniel Karasinski handled the Garden City Winds lineup with ease, racking up eight strikeouts. Karasinski allowed three earned runs on six hits and two walks over eight innings.
Scott Stonestreet recorded his second win of the year for the Trinidad Triggers. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered two hits.
Marty Anderson couldnt get it done on the hill for the Garden City Wind, taking a loss. He lasted just eight innings, walked two, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
